Zhenya Strigalev (saxophone) and Jamie Murray (drums) meld many inspirations through their musical journeys and studies to create an organic and original sound. Some see Indian influence, some Charlie Parker or Chris Dave. With the focused and powerful energy of a smaller group, they are able to create a very tight and precise sound, while remaining fully free and open creatively. The music ranges from heavy swinging grooves and complex melodies to catchy crowd-pleasers lit in a new light.
